Olive oil can sometimes give your hair an unpleasant odor, stick with hair oils they tend to me more light to and keep the hair from looking greasy

At least 30 minutes. And yeah, it can smell so make sure you wash it out all the way. I hear coconut oil is fabulous too, I just never tried it myself

Coconut and olive are great... if you wash it correcly olive oil won't smell bad don't worry. honey and mayonnaise are great too.

Extra virgin coconut oil! apply to wet hair in the shower while you do your other stuff, rinse well before exiting!

Coconut milk masks make your hair super shiny (: also rinse your hair with cold water so.you close the cuticle and trap in moisture

Olive Oil actually does help hair look shiny. My sister puts some in her hair and leaves it on over night. She washes it out in the morning and it looks so nice and healthy. But do make sure to wash it all out.

Coconut oil is great. For a quicker shine, I use Paul Mitchell shine serum, or Garnier shine serum. But for long term, I use coconut oil. :)
