I have the worst luck with finding a sheer to medium coverage foundation. I have oily skin to combination skin that's acne prone. I wanted a matte to luminous look? I want it matte but not too matte if that makes sense. Any recommendation? Cost is not a factor. I was looking into the makeup forever HD foundation also... Should I?

I love the Kat Von D foundation I break out easily and this didn't it definitely is a matte foundation. Good luck with you search!

I use MUFE mat velvet and I like it. I also just started using Bobbi Brown and they are amazing. Sometimes all it takes to tackle oily skin is some good primer. My face is also oil and acne prone and I just switched primers and I've noticed a huge change. I was using Smashbox oil free primer now I use becca or cover fx and they are both wonderful for oily skin. Sometimes no matter what you do you face will always be oily, this is the case with me, instead I work to curb the amount of oil. Always have blotting papers on hand and remember a little oil on your skin isnt always bad, it gives off a beautiful young Mediterranean glow so be happy for that : ),
