I have naturally curly hair that comes to my mid back, but through out the years I've noticed that my curls have become frizzy and dry and lacks shine and moisture. I shower every other day and I use dove daily moisture shampoo and SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Conditioner, and I also sometimes use it as a leave in conditioner. That's all the products I use, I almost never straighten my hair. What can I do to make my curls healthy again?

I like SheaMoisture, but I didn't find their conditioner (s) to be very moisturizing for my hair at all!
Perhaps try a more moisturizing leave-in conditioner.. I really adore the results I have gotten from Ouidad. They cater more towards curl type instead. Ouidad is pricey but my bottle is going on since September!
aPHogee (in sallys) is a great line for curls. I use their leave in, moisture-protein treatments, and curl creams all the time on my hair. I recently bleached my hair and its helped it so much. I also add a bit of avocado oil to help my curls and help with frizz. Hot oil treatments do help a lot with frizz as well! You can purchase some ready to use at Sallys or make your own. Trims also help as hair is prone to damage just from the enviroment. A deep conditioning treatment can help with the frizz as well.
I recommend following MoeKnowsHair on YouTube. She has many videos on curly hair and does them on all types of curls.. damaged, healthy etc.and some of the befores and afters from some TLC are impressive!

Thank you Kitty K!! This is such great information! I'm actually on my fourth bottle of my sheamoisture conditioner, I mostly use it as a leave in conditioner because I've noticed that it's helps my curls stay put together and helps tame the frizz! But it hasn't done any miracles to my hair. I'll check out the products you mentioned, thank you!

Also try to wash your hair every three days if you can because your stripping your hair if it's natural oils by doing it that often ♡
