Should I use a hydrating moisturizer for my oily skin?

Hey everyone! I have oily skin and for my makeup I will go in with my mattifying moisturizer and then go in with my soap and glory matte primer. Before bed I do wash my face and go in with my cleanser and moisturize my face with my neutrogena moisturizer in the white and pink bottle. So my question is should I be using a hydrating moisturizer?

I guess that just depends on how your skin feels when you wake up the morning after. If it feels tight, then yes I would suggest using something more hydrating. However, it doesn't always have to be a moisturizer. You can use a bit of oil after your moisturizer, to seal in the benefits, and to add hydration. Just a couple of drops in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together. Then instead of rubbing it into your skin, gently press in the oil. I always go cheeks, forehead, then everywhere els. I do have dry skin, although all skins may benefit from facial oil. You need to find the right one. Remember you don't always have to splurge.

My face doesn't feel like that when I wake up. Do you do that at night before bed?

A good oil for oily skin is jojoba oil because it's a wax ester that mimics natural sebum production. Very inexpensive too. I bought mine at Whole Foods. You can mix with your moisturizer or press it onto your face before you moisturize. At nighttime- I only recommend oil use during the day for very dry skin.
