My lips will randomly feel super dry even why I'm thoroughly hydrated and have been wearing Chapstick and start forming bumps. They stay like this for a number of days. Any ideas on what it could be?

Maybe it's the type of Chapstick you're using? I know when I used to use eos, they would make my lips even more dry and start to peel.

I had this problem as well!! I researched and searched and the only thing I could seem to come up with was a possible allergic reaction. I was positive they were not a cold sore despite what others said, because they would come and go for almost a month! I bought aquaphor lip repair and healing ointment from shoppers (I'm in Canada) and I swear it's helped so much. I started wearing lipsticks a lot more then usual and all I could think was it was just too much/too many different things going on my lips. Very frustrating tho, even though nobody could notice them but I myself could and it felt like sandpaper on my tongue or when I rubbed my lips together. Try aquaphor!!
