For us in the northern hemisphere summertime is here or approaching. Melting makeup, sweat stains and other issues will start plaguing us. What are your tips for staying comfortable and gorgeous during the hot months? Here's a few of mine.
.One ply toilet tissue makes great emergency or cheap oil blotting papers. Remove that excess oil and sweat without messing up your makeup.
.Stick panty liners on the inside underarms of your shirt to absorb sweat and avoid sweat marks.
.A little spray bottle with 1/2 distilled water & 1/2 witch hazel is a good cooling refreshing spray for face and neck. Share some of your diys or products you love for summer.

Skindinavia finishing spray oil control is BOMB for makeup longevity and Estée Lauder double wear is my summer foundation best of all time

Kim I have to try that diy refreshing spray. One of my tips is using deodorant on feet to avoid blisters. Another thing I started doing is when I wear dresses and my inner thighs rub together (ugh the humidity) I use deodorant to relieve the friction. Sounds weird but it really helps and less messy than baby powder.

For me I use end rollers as blotting tissue.
I thought I was the only one that used pantyliners on the inside of the shirt lol
I sometimes apply a small amount of prescription strength fragrance-free deodorant on my upper lip to avoid getting as sweaty and my makeup definitely don't just come off as it used to. It stays on MUCH longer.
I like to keep wipes on me. I sometimes just can't stand the sweat.
Then after, you can use sunscreen wipes which is a good way of reapplying your sunscreen.
I really like using the green marble sealr spray which definitely has worked amazing for my oily/perspire-prone face. My makeup doesn't just melt off.

The first time I purchased it was a few years back when this lady poured water in a glass then she put less than a spoon full of this powder in the water but the powder stayed on top of the water then she stuck her finger in the glass of water and back out and her finger was dry! I was like Wth! Let me try that and sure enough finger was dry lol so I've been buying it ever since. :)
This stuff will help you stay dry it's crazy. So that's a lil beauty stay dry tip, that product is amazing and does the job. :)

Have you tried the kleancolor metallic liquid eyeliners? Those look tempting. I do like their color liquid liners.

I have 3 Kleancolor Bronzers, a blush and 2 eyeshadow palettes. I love Kleancolor.

I do too, they are so under rated. I have the regular liquid color liners, baked blush, baked shadows and I think a few others but they are great. I may just go ahead and try the metallic liquid

I use baby wipes in between my boobs when I go to bed or sometimes during the afternoon. Also whenever I use the bathroom I also put water on my face and through my hair. just enough so my hair doesn't get dried out. I also don't wear much makeup during summer. I have also bewn staying indoors most of the time since I have kids and gave birth to my third just a couple days ago. I drink sooo much water and same with my boys. I also keep their skin hydrated with water too.

@Sarah W. Dang, San Diego is really warm. Congrats on the new baby. What kind of baby wipes do you use? Fragrance free? sensitive skin? That's a really good idea. I'm trying to push the water more.

Thank you! Baby wipes usually depend on what I can afford at the time haha but currently I'm using Pamoers sensitive. Usually I like to use ones with fragrance but right now I'm using fragrance free.
Yah it is really warm here. Especially during the middle the beach is exactly the perfect place where you want to be all day every day!

Congratulations Sarah! I agree baby wipes are a lifesaver for many things ESP when on the run and sweaty on hot days when the shower is home and your not lol! I have them all over the place car bag purse and all over the house (thanks kids!) lol you HAVE to try Cosco baby wipes ever since my friend recommended it for the kids I really love it and it does t leave a film behind like pampers does and huggies just rips apart too easy and is soaked with liquid lol

My tips for summer makeup are less is best - I usually just do a bb cream and some waterproof concealer if needed - also waterproof everything is a must for me cause I sweat like crazy and I've lived in humid places most of my life - so waterproof concealer, mascara, creams or stains over powder products - they tend to last longer and be more effective in the heat - I've gotten use to the amount that I sweat and I know it's genetic but I try to keep it to a minimum by drinking lots of water and staying hydrated - I drink water with every meal as well as a glass between meals - and carry a water bottle if I leave the house - I also carry a small makeup bag with touch up supplies (lip stains, cheek stains, mascara, blotting powder, etc) so that I can touch up on the go when I need to - and those are what get me through the hot/humid summers.
