I'm very much on the fence with extreme contouring. I LOVE drag makeup, however I find extreme contouring only works well if the artist has the skill to make it work and uses the right colours and techniques. I find it can go wrong so easily and look fake, so I think it's all down to the skill of the artist and the use of correct products. Some face shapes also don't work with an extreme contour.

I don't do extreme contouring like the picture you provided on a daily basis. I've never actually tried "extreme" contouring like that 😂 I really want to though! I totally agree with you. I started wearing full-coverage foundation to cover up acne & now it's just my daily routine along with contour / blush & eye makeup & lips. whenever I try to look natural I think I look sick 😂 wearing full makeup is fun & I enjoy the process of doing it 😊 I either go all out or don't wear any makeup at all!

Just wondering are we saying true extreme contouring look in person? The actual look of it or are you saying just a tad bit more then the norm? Because what's on picture's looks extremely different in person especially drag makeup or stage which in fact goes beyond what you see in any picture. Just like that picture you posted isn't really true to what it looks like in front of you and he basically is just doing a line gimmick to the face that actually have no purpose he just basically is making up these lines all over for the hype of contour. I'm just trying to understand what exactly your saying :) just to add natural makeup is actually the hardest for most to achieve but it can be done very well with practice.

Personally, I love heavy/dramatic makeup. I'm only 13 so I can't really wear much, but I love the look!

& contouring is a love/hate thing with me as most people I see don't blend in out, but I love it when it's done well!

Oh ok so like night wear (glam ready) red carpet wear, that's a big difference from extreme. I think if you like a bit more drama go for it no harm at all, have fun with it and always try new things and have people or friends be honest with you on the look. I personally applied to much makeup on other faces through the year's that I became a no makeup person on myself lol but when I do actually put it on depending on my mood I'll do a glam with more drama to the cheek or I'll go a bit more fake it fresh face where I focus on my skin and application of product like highlight or illuminating product and leave my lids with one solid color usually a cream yellow gold shadow with a very thin hug to the lash Brown liner with no wing. :)

Personally, I hate the look of a heavy face, now that's not to say I hate extreme makeup, but USUALLY when people do extreme, it just looks extremely fake and over whelming, I personally like a "undetectable" look of foundation, which is why I have such a hard time finding one. But I also love contouring, but I have yet to find a cream to be able to attempt it, so I just use a powder, I would say I do a moderate contour on the daily, like you can tell I contoured but it now like wow, that chick contoured. I think it all depends on the person, how well they blend, and how the products sit on the skin when you look at them in natural lighting :)

Megan, I use a few like Laura mercier brunette, Mac fluidline Dip down, Anastasia pomade lol yes it actually works and stays in place in the color medium Brown, Flirt cosmetics liquid Brown.I also use some bronze Browns that look beautiful on the eyes like flirt bronze, Avon Bronze, Sephora collection bronze, the list goes on. Have you tried a burgundy liner? It brings out Brown eyes also I love Mac foxy lady Unfortunately they've discontinued it but I'm savoring my pencil lol flirt cosmetic burgundy. :)

You're welcome Megan, yes I get so annoyed when they take away great stuff ugh so sad I'm still waiting on Mac to bring back antique gold pigment it was so beautiful and I'm savoring what I have left of that too lol but burgundy is killer on brown eyes, love it. I'm glad to hear you tried the pomade as a liner too it's not bad at all lol I like it. :)

Haha I want to 😩 but my mom won't buy me stuff, she says that it'll ruin my skin bc I'm young & have pretty good skin. which I can understand, but I still want it all!

Haha thanks! I got my mom interested in makeup, but for skin, she just agreed with a concealer & a powder, which is fine for now. but when I go to high school, I'm going to ask her for some foundation 😂

Personally, I'm not a fan. I just don't think makeup this extreme looks good in person. For pictures it's perfect, though.
