I used to have such clear skin :( but this past year I've been break out (typically on my cheeks). Any natural tip or remedies? Maybe change my diet somehow? (I don't eat dairy so that's not the issue), eat more of a certain food, I've heard exercising more might help?... I've also heard witch hazel is good. I'm just looking for anything that has helped clear up your face.

Do you change your pillow cases at least once a week?

Hm, I don't clean then that often, I will now! Thank you. And no nothing new :\ same with makeup. I've been using the same products I've always used. Also, I clean my makeup brushes regularly. Kind of makes me wonder if it's just hormonal acne.

What worked for me was the neotragena grapefruit oil free acne wash along with a breakout control moisturizer that I use & taking my makeup off everyday

It is most likely your pillow cases because it's on your cheeks & that's what you lay on, if it was hormonal it would be more random here & there pimples not just your cheeks you know?

Oh that is true. Yeah my forehead is always clear which is weird. I'm washing them right now. Hopefully that helps :)

What is your skin care routine?:)

Something I've noticed pertaining to pillowcases is that when I actually changed my laundry soap and fabric softener is that it made me break out mainly on my checks (from pillow cases) and on my back/chest. So thay could also be a possibility if you switched something like that.

Shawna is right that can also be a reason

After I started taking birth control my acne went away completely & now I just have scars & the occasional homegirl (pimple) here & there. I also found that LUSH products helped maintain clear, healthy skin as well.

Anything with tea tree usually helps too.

Tea tree oil or anything with tea tree oil has been a savior for my skin personally

Sounds strange but not touching your face was the best thing when clearing my acne, worked so well:)

For me it was birth control. I understand certain people or religions frown on that, though. It was a personal decision I made because I wanted to try out before I was sent to try a different medication that was a little more intense. So that helped me. I'm older now, and it doesn't help. On top of that I'm pregnant. Honestly, us women have a ton of side effects of hormones, in my opinion

Witch hazel is a natural astringent and really helps.
