This might sound complicated but I need help so I'm going to try to explain.. My face consists of mostly black heads and sort of like these under the skin bumps, its oily and hard to get rid of. I've been to two dermatologists, had a spa treatment, and tried over the counter things several times. Its like nothing helps. my pores like on my cheeks are big. my nose and chin are filled with black heads and I hate it. its also hard to wear makeup such as foundation because I have oily skin , so I will make sure always wash my face with my cleanser (cetaphil, then apply the moisturizer that goes with it) but then I go to put on foundations its like my skin looks chafed and dry?? I use foundation for oily skin. but I just don't get it I always make sure my makeup is washed off and I was my face everynight feeling like I've tried EVERYTHING and I hate it. Does anyone know what to do >

So do you wash your make up off only with cetaphil?
It's not strong enough to get rid of all make up and might be why you have a lot of black heads

Honestly, skin care routines help. Cleanser toner moisturizer etc.exfoliate and such. That helps. I had the same problems in high school, but ya. For me it took time

Have you tried any face masks?

No I wipe it off with a makeup white then will wash my face and sometimes depending on how back put on a toner then a topical cream. but sometimes just the makeup wipe and cetaphil @Ari M.

You should be cleansing your face morning and night with a cleanser for your skin type followed by a toner for your skin type and a moisturizer for your skin type.

Exfoliate once or twice a week.

Use a face mask once a week.

Remove all makeup before bed with makeup remover wipes then cleanse, tone, and moisturize.

You also should use makeup wipes to get the majority of makeup off and then use cetaphil. Also you might want to in vest in a good exfoliator.

I😍this by LUSH..I also have oily acne prone skin and is gentle enough for my everyday use. I also use witch hazel toner after & just a few drops of grape seed oil to moisterize...

@logan I am obsessed😍it has sugar, charcoal, and mud that gently exfoliates my skin..I even leave on for few minutes and dries like mask! Double duty🙌
Cons would be messy black mud all over sink but that just means I have to clean mor often😱and an odor like car fuel oil of a sort I got used to cuz my skin justs loves it! I'm less oily n it feels so clean n soft soon after.
Go get a sample girl! Lush is cool like that!

From my personal experience cetaphil is better for dry/sensitive skin rather than oily. try to switch to a cleanser for oily skin (neutrogena has a good one) get a toner, from what I understand you don't have severe acne so something more gental would probably be good to not irritate the skin. my personal favorite is natural rose water. it is antibacterial and soothing and works great. to treat pimples or bumps I would suggest going to a dermatologist to give you something that will be specific for your skin. ones you get a good skin care rutine you should see a difference within a month or two.
