I need a new foundation, I was using ELF acne control liquid foundation in the winter and Rimmel London stay matte BB cream in light in the summer. I'd love to keep using the BB cream as its light and not heavy, but its to dark for my now milk white skin :( and the ELF foundation which matches my skin tone beautifully isn't doing my dry skin any justice and clings to my eczema like dry patches.
if anyone can suggest a good light foundation or a moisturizing BB cream that's cheap and can be found at Walmart or a pharmacy I'd be so grateful!

Oh I know it's no way near cheap but the IT cosmetics CC cream is just... Amazing!!
It's light weight but gives a nice level of coverage, it gives the most beautiful natural finish, it's not drying, It smells amazing, it has spf 50 and a buck load of great beneficial ingredients!!

My second, more affordable option is Lumene Time Freeze CC Cream which is very close in texture, benefits and coverage to "IT" CC Cream.
I think they are discontinuing it, but you can get it on Walgreens online or check to see if it is in stock at a store within your area. http://www.walgreens.com/search/results.jsp?Ntt=Lumene+CC+Cream
I just bought a back-up to my IT tube there.
Also can find it here: http://www.dermstore.com/product_Time+Freeze+Color+Correcting+CC+Cream_52412.htm
After that, I'd say Garnier BB Cream.

What primer, face wash and moisturizer are you using, Raylene?

You can also get the IT Cosmetics CC Cream from Ulta, they sell the travel size so it's cheaper but a little goes a long way so the tube will last awhile (:

Raylene, strangely, the Hard Candy website doesn't list the ingredients, but I'd bet this primer contains one, if not more, skin irritants..including parfum..and nothing to counter acne. While using your Murad, how is your skin? I can't help but feel this primer isn't doing you any favors.

Uhm, my skin seems okay. its just between my brows its like dry and flaky and I always get this one spot beside my nose just before it turns to cheek, that's rough. I get it every winter it feels eczema like I don't know what to do with it. I only use the primer with the foundation, when I use my BB Cream I don't bother with primer.

Oh...good. I'm glad it is working out for you. I'd incorporate a little cold pressed sweet almond into my routine as it is excellent for dry patches.

You can apply moisturizer under the e.l.f foundation. I like physician's formula cc cream, I don't need to put concealer over my blemishes when I use it.

I'm not sure, but any health food store or Whole Foods will. Sometimes, Vitamin shops carry it as well. Hope it helps.
