I've been having a hard time with finding a shampoo & conditioner for my hair. My hair is long, dry & super thick I've tried a few but nothing really that I liked. Was wanting to try Pantene Pro-V, has anyone tried it? <3.

It's just cheap drugstore shampoo, nothing special. That said, when I can't afford anything nicer Pantene is what I always buy, so it must have impressed me at some point. I don't have long hair though. I would get morrocan oil or ojon to help with the dryness.

The conditioners are great but I would'nt bother with the shampoo due to the drying sulfates it contains. For a sulfate free shampoo I would look at Loreal.

Thanks girls. Bree where can you find Morrocan Oil, is it available at drugstores? & Shelley I'll keep that in mind (sulfate free) when buying shampoo. <3.

I also have very thick long hair, I was on a very tight budget last month and tried Pantene, it made my scalp itch like crazy and my hair very greasy. definitely try a sulphate free shampoo.

I haven't used Pantene in a long time. I did always love the way it smelled and it does the job of getting your clean, but I would always have to switch to a different brand after a month or two because of buildup. My hair would start to feel waxy and gross. Ew.

Ladies.. Pantene or any other drug store shampoo & Con is no good!! And the professional ones at drugstores are black market and could be filled with anything and more money than going to a salon!! Pantene has so much sulfate and silicone so it might feel good on the hair cause the silicone is COATING your strands to make it feel nice..so after a period of use the harshness if the sulfate will cause damage to your hair and break off!! As a stylist I recommend Paul Mitchell..Which is a great line and budget friendly... Shampoo and cond range from 8-12$ you only need to use a dime to quarter size because its highly concentrated.. So less is more. Washing your hair every 2-3 days will make the bottle last 3-4 months.. Which in turns saved you more money than buying Pantene and a healthy head of hair <3.

Pantene pretty much just coats your hair with wax. Made my hair look awful!
