I dyed my hair bright red last year and first off I had to re-dye it every month, there was no stretching it out and it's very difficult to get out of your hair bc red colour molecules are the largest. So basically don't dye your hair blonde after or it'll be orange. You'd have to dye over it with a dark colour so I went brunette after and now I'm just switching to blonde but its taken one 4 hour session and one 3 hour session to tone down the pink and orange that keeps coming out. Yikes! Just so's you know :D.

Red color molecules are the smallest...that's why reds fade so quickly

I love the color, always wanted red hair! But, I had red highlights once & it's a lot of upkeep, they faded pretty quick, my hair dresser said red was hard to get to stay in? I think it's a beautiful color though!
