Sleep with french braids and spray on a little of your favorite holding product before you take them out in the morning.. Finger comb through and use more product if necessary.

Also I prefer to make the braid tighter on top and looser at the bottom to get more consistent waves.. Depending on your hair type do one, two, or even three braids.

It would depend on where you want your part.

Whichever part you think suits you will look fine and usually if my hairs just slightly damp before I put it up it won't frizz. But thats my greasy head lol.. If you have a problem with it then maybe put in a calming serum before you put it up

Another thing that might help with frizz is to use just a few squirts of water out of.a spray bottle in the morning.. But it really depends on your own hair type so what id really suggest is just playing with it to see what gives you the best results. If you don't like how it turns out in the morning you can.always wet it down and blow dry it however you like then try again later :)

Sea Salt hair spray. I bought some at walgreens for about six bucks and it gives my hair a wavy beach look. The stray hairs looks natural with it:)

Use the following 2 products: First use Rusk Wired and after your hair is mostly dry, use Josie Maran Sea salt spray. I use them both alone as well, the most important thing is to apply them with damp hair.

Have complete dried hair. Loosely wrap strands (small if tighter curls are wanted, big if looser curls are wanted) around 2 fingers and secure very well with bobby pins. Leave it for 2+ hours or overnight if you think you can sleep on it without messing it up too bad.
Take out all bobby pins in the morning and make sure you have the desired look. Spray with hair spray. Don't forget to part your hair the way you want it BEFORE you wrap and bobby pin the hair.
Hope this works!
