I do a lot of exercise, and I would say that squats, and just holding your leg out parallel to the floor for a long time. U no holding it for 30 seconds then doing it again and again! (I hope that made sense and it helps)

It always helps to have a buddy to exercise with :) I've personally found I hold myself more accountable for exercising if its not just me.

Its okay if your thighs jiggle ;), but I definitely understand about wanting to tone up for the summer. running, squats, and lunges work well for me. :) good luck!
