it could be the polish ur using. newer polishes will spread nicer and not dry out as fast as old ones do. also it could be the water ur using. i heard bottled water works better than tap water but i do use tap water and mines come out just fine. try a newer polish out and see how it goes (:

It could also be the temperature of the water... make sure it stays warm but not too warm... That's the trick to getting good looking marble nails, but it's also one of the hardest things lol
