do the uv lights damage/age your hands??

It is said the for each minute your hands are in the uv light it's as if you we're in the sun for 2 minutes. Where an SPF when you get you nails done! And exfoliate your hands and you'll be able to maintain your youthful hands.

Yes but not enough too worry about it, you should be wearing sunscreen every day anyway, but if you are that worried just do as stephanie said and reapply before you get them done, I do ibd gel polish from home and I love it! So much better than acrylics and lasts much longer than regular polish :)
