Lovely combinations of colors
I love Tarte's lipgloss duos. I was instantly drawn to them by their beautiful color combinations, and I LOVE that they chose famous couples throughout history and media to name the duos.
I first picked up Odysseus and Penelope because I loveeed the colors. Odysseus is a creamy coral pink with very very little shimmer, paired with Penelope, a sparkling and sheer apricot/gold shade. The colors work really well together and are perfect for the summertime!
Texturewise, these are both very creamy and moisturizing on the lips. They're also a bit tacky, which helps them last longer as well. Without eating, these can last for about 3 hours before reapplying.
I love wearing Odysseus all over the lips, then applying a dab of Penelope on the center lower lip for extra lip volume and sparkle. Typically, I pair this duo with greens, blues, and grays on the eyes, and stick to a peachy nude, nude, or bronzed cheek to match.
