Shimmering pink with a hint of rose
Flusterose is a pearlescent pink with a hint of a rose tone. It gives a really sweet and feminine look to the lips, and the pearl texture gives a glow, versus a chunky shimmer that you typically see in many lip glosses. I love wearing this with gray or brown smokey eyes. Try this in the springtime with some pale lavender pastels for the ultimate girly look!
I typically don't wear lip gloss, but this was such a pretty shade I couldn't resist! Flusterose is part of MAC's Lustreglass line. They are a bit less sticky than the original MAC Lip glass, but they have a pearl 'lustre' finish that separates them from the rest of the shimmering glosses. At $14.50, I believe these are priced well because they will last a really long time. The yummy scent is subtle and not overpowering at all. This product is also part of the Back 2 MAC program, where if you recycle 6 empty plastic products back to MAC (Lustreglass included), you can trade them in for a at a freestanding store for a free eye shadow, lip gloss, or lipstick (at counters, it's just a lipstick).
