Long-Wear Lip Crème

The color isn’t really what they show but I liked it. It dries quickly and does not come off on a glass. It feels very dry while on to me. It lasted about 2 hours with me drinking coffee during that time. It just kind of faded away. Not as long lasting as some other brands. If you aren’t eating or drinking will probably last longer. I couldn’t feel it on at all ...very light. Overall. I like it but I like Thrive Causematics better.

I can easily see this being my favorite color. Long lasting and stunning pigment. With that said, it is somewhat drying. I have to do a “lip prep” before and after. I sugar scrub before and use all natural balm. The color goes on even in one coat and stays on all day! I ate & drank, it didn’t budge. Applied in morning, took off around 10 pm. I have not had caking or cracking issues. But I do try to keep my lips in good shape. Would have loved to give 5 stars, but knocked one off for the dryness after I took it off. But it’s something I’ll deal with, it’s just THAT PRETTY!

I have four shades now and most likely will never spend another dime with department store brands. This is one of the most beautiful products I have ever used. I am 61 years old and the colors are not only complimentary and beautiful but work well with age related skin which is not the experience most of us have with products just designed for the young. Thank you for creating a product that those of us who still want to look and feel beautiful even as we grow older can use without looking like we are trying to be 20 again!

I wanted to LOVE this, but unfortunately it was not what I expected. The color on the model looked like a shimmering rose wet with dewy gold dust. On my lips the color was a drab mauve that didn't shimmer or make my smile pop as I thought it would. But that wasn't the biggest disappointment. The lip cream is extremely drying and felt tight and uncomfortable on my lips. I tried it several times and had to remove it immediately because it was so stiff and made my lips look like an old lady. Sephora's lip stains are 100% more hydrating and the colors are to die for. Sorry Jouer Cosmetics, but you didn't wow this hard-core make up fan.

While I would have to say Jouer Lip Creme's are my favourite, they are a mixed bag, some are really good and some are just a streaky crumbly mess.

The metallic are by far my favourites, they go on sheer but give full coverage and last a long time even with food consumption.

My two most favourite shades that seem to work best for me are Cayenne which is the most gorgeous metallic orange which just lasts and lasts and doesn't dry my lips out, I don't need to line my lips and it doesn't feather.

Cassis which is my favourite matte Crème is the same, lasts and lasts, no feathering and it doesn't need a liner.

Both of these shades do not crumble.

The worst one I have tried and it is such a shame because it's my favourite shade is Petale de Rose, it crumbles within minutes and is just totally unwearable.

What I do like about these crème's is if you just want to wear them as a gloss with some staying power add a layer of thick clear lip balm over the top. It keeps your lips moisturised and the colour does stay much longer than a normal lip gloss, looks good too.

This color is amazing. My husband compliments me all the time. Sometimes I add a topper just to make it really shine. Love it, must have.

I do like the product it goes on the lips very smoothly however when it dries it is a little chaulky. You have to make sure to moisturizer your lips before using this product.

This glides on smoothly and stays on for a long time; it stayed on even after wiping my lips with a napkin. This color is absolutely beautiful; I especially love the little bit of metallic in this product.

The lipstick was dry looking. Was hoping for more luster. It seems very dry looking not all all what pictures showed.

I was so Bummed, I really wanted this to work. It is just like every other long Wear Lipstick. It makes your lips look dry and old, not good. I LOVE the color. If you can give me any idea's on how to make this work I would love to here it, but at this point it is trash.
