A Glam Take On An Everyday Shade

My boyfriend took me to the MAC store in Oxford specifically for a nude lipstick. I wanted something that I could slick on every day. A neutral tone that would compliment my look without being over the top. I tend to wear dramatic eye makeup so it's essential that I don't over do my lip colour. This shade is perfect. It feels comfortable to wear and gives you the glossy glamourous finish to an otherwise unremarkable ordinary day-in day-out look. It doesn't dry your lips out and it stays on for such a long time too. I'm usually quite uncomfortable in lipstick but this feels so nice to wear. Definite thumbs up from me :)

My Favourite Lipstick

I went to the launch party of Illamasqua's Human Fundamentalism collection. I already knew that I wanted this shade but it seemed so risky and I was worried that it would be an unwearable look. One of the key artists tried it out on me, using the Debonair pencil first to outline my lips. The results were fabulous and I immediately bought both the pencil and the lipstick. It's such a bold look but if you can pull it off it's totally worth it!
