Beauty Product Reviews

Great for travelling

This palette is a saviour for those who are constantly on the go. This is my well-loved palette that I trust for that quick smoky eye or just neutral eye. The shadows are highly pigmented. That is a plus sign. 'Naked 2' is great for contour, as it has greyish tone that looked like a natural shadow. 'Crave' is beautiful for smoky eye or liner. 'Venus' for highlighting. The possibilities are endless. Also, it comes with almost all matte shadows therefore suitable for mature ladies.

Good but there are better options

I use this Mist & Fix spray after noticing that it does not contain alcohol. It means it won't dry your skin. I spray the fine mist to my Beauty Blender and pat it rather than spray directly to the face. Comes in a huge bottle that last forever. This is great in setting your make up after applying too much powder. However, my make up starts to move after 6 hours.

Urban Decay's De-slick is still a better choice for oily skin especially during summer. Good Luck!

Tinted with slight coverage moisturiser

I use this daily after Bloggers raves as one of the few tinted moisturiser in the market that actually have coverage. Yes, the hype is true. So, if you're acne prone, oily or just want some coverage without foundation, this is your go-to.

After 5 months of using this, it is still going strong and worth your penny. If you want to apply primer before this tinted moisturiser, look for water-base or cream primer. It does not work well with silicon base primer. Good luck!

Must have for lazy girls!

For the 'lazy' girls out there, you need this in your life. Removing make up may sound like chore, but you just need to wipe it all off with cotton pads. I wear thick full coverage make up when I perform theatre and Bioderma did all the dirty job. My skin looks clearer with no traces of makeup left.

It cleanses your face from make up and daily impurities, but it is not a facial cleanser. The 3-step system still applies though. Bummer, I know.
