Mature skin
Ok I wrote a nice lengthy review, but they deleted it so am trying again on how this brush is amazing for mature crepe wrinkly skin- have a brush seamlessly glides over the skin and gives you a perfect airbrush wash of color. You can also add depth using this brush. It will glide across your crease and lid without picking up the folds and the wrinkles which when you do that you’re just basically moving wrinkly skin around, causing patchiness and skilless you will have a nice airbrushed, professional quality blend and beautiful dimension
Must have for mature skin!
Mature skin is a different animal. If you try to blend shadow just swashbuckliback-and-forth like the you tubers all do all you’re doing is moving wrinkly skin around and the wrinkles and folds in the crepe skin crepe skin will overlap and buckle and leave the shadow Skippy and patchy. The traditional you tube method style of blending and that might work fine if you’re somebody who’s like 22 years old or if you’ve been doing make up for 35 years, but this brush will give you a seamless airbrushed blend without picking up Mature skin and folding it on top of itself, the blend will be amazing and you will get this instant beautiful wash of color and ombre of dimension that you never even knew you could do all of this brush. Trust me when I say this brush is the best brush I have and I have more than 600 make up brushes. I have almost several Sonia G sets I have hundreds of other brands and this one is chefs kiss!.
Breathtakingly Beautiful!
I have used that phrase for years on social media to describe Ariel’s work on his posts and it applys to all of the craftsmanship of these Japanese artisan brushes- top notch in terms of quality and softness. I have hundreds of brushes, all the high end ones all her eye brushes (sky & pro) which I bought thru beautylish - you get the idea here IMA BRUSH FAN! With that said, all goat hair is not created equally - Chinese goats vs Japanese (lol) there is no scratchey pointy feel and this set is one and done you could do a full face with it. The builder and worker brushes are densely packed very close to the ferrul so there’s no gaps you get a nice airy seem less application. I personally had to return this set because I didn’t have use for a couple of brushes so couldn’t justify the price for the 4 I would use- because I don’t do any contouring or need any precise touch up buffing style brushes they wouldn’t have gotten any use - the angular cheek brush was to thin for me a blusher but would work great for angular contour which again I don’t do, the white one was dense firm and soft - same with the other white goat hair one it was firm yet flexible but more on the firm side and I don’t need any- precise buffers for my powders and they were to to thin / small/ precise for the way I do my face routine but I gave this a five star because of the quality and the beauty but for someone who needs these type of precise buffers this would be great- I like the fan style brush for nose contour even tho that’s not what it’s for- people get so hung up on what each brush is for but technically you could use just about any brush for anything you can multitask with many many brushes people don’t need 500 brushes like I have I just happen to like brushes LOL! Thankyou Beautylish for the great customer service - I’m old school (think miss Neiman Marcus from the 90’s) that’s me- and I still prefer the good old fashion customer service that you get in high-end stores and that’s what you get when you shop with Beautylish!
