Another great option from Ilia
It seems like you just can't go wrong with Ilia's lip products: color has great staying power and it's hydrating enough to not make your lips feel sticky. Dress you up is described as a mauve color but it looks more like a pinkish berry stain on me (I'm light to medium warm toned). The color is absolutely beautiful!
Best brush for tightlining
It's just the right size brush for tightlining your eyes; the best one I've tried so far. The bristles have just the right stiffness while remaining soft enough at the same time for precise application of eyeliner. Highly recommend it!
Better than Anastasia's brow pencil
Bought this along Kevyn Aucoin's precision brow pencil for comparison purposes but though it fares better both in color and lasting power than Anastasia's, Aucoin's feels creamier and more natural looking.
Natural looking brows
Both color and lasting power are great. It's very creamy and easy to use, giving brows that natural-looking effect that I've only been able to achieve with powder so far.
Great cleaning power but fragrance is strong
Only a little is needed to clean brushes well but I just wished it came fragrance free. The citrusy smell is not unpleasant but it's quite strong and remains on brushes well after they've dried.
Not suitable for tightlining
If you mostly use eyeliner for tightlining, this kohl liner has very little staying power on the waterline. I have sensitive eyes and have sightly oily eyelids. After just a couple of hours, this liner smeared and was almost invisible. If you experience similar problems, I highly recommend Clio's liquid pen liners. They are the only ones that stay put no matter what you do and lasts until you take them off with a makeup remover.
A top notch tinted balm
It's very moisturizing and the effect lasts quite long, unlike other tinted lip balms or lipsticks that seem to suck the moisture out after a short time. In Paradise is a great looking coral pink that remains sheer and subtle enough to look very natural with just the right punch of color. Depending on your skin tone (I'm warm toned), Funnel of Love is the perfect nude color for most days!
Light feeling, silk-like powder
It's unbelievably light and silky feeling; sets makeup well throughout the day and looks great in person. However, I've noticed a slight white film in photos where flash was used and this worries me given all the recent makeup mishaps on celebrities using similar powders.
