Beauty Product Reviews
Great blush brush
Perfect for blush, especially Wayne Goss’s. Picks up just right amount, super soft so buffing in is a delight. The weight of the handle is a weird thing that I pay attention to and really like.
Perfect pale pink
Love that it’s so much a balm/hydrator that it doesn’t stick to flaky lips but rather heals them. Perfect pale pink for my lips.
Foundation replacement
Like most clean make up I was prepared to be disappointed but soldier on in the name of not poisoning myself. HOWEVER! Just a few dabs of this on my face after primer, buffed/patted in with the koyudo fu-pa series fu-pa02 liquid foundation brush (which I see now beautylish doesn’t carry anymore but it is an amazing little brush, like a beauty blender and great foundation brush had a beautiful baby) has completely replaced my old full face foundation routine. Stays on so well, a little goes a long ways. Completely worth the price. Buy a couple in different colors to contour, use in different seasons etc. I would be in love with this whether it was clean or not. So glad I took a chance on it!
Perfect contour+bronze for fair skin
Used to use Kevyn Aucoin contour. This is so much more product for close to the same price. The contour is subtle and easy to blend. It’s honestly hard to put it on wrong which is what I loved about Wayne’s blush/highlight release. The shimmery bronzer is done so well. You literally just look dewy and sun kissed, not bronzed or made up at all.
Desert island status
Wayne Goss does it again. The brush is genius with the super short bristles. The formula is glossy and easy to layer. Do it quickly and comb out in between coats to avoid spider leg lashes. Waterproof waterproof so removal is as you should expect. Used to used Benefit They’re Real primer and mascara.
