Love for face powder, NOT baking. Here's why...

This review is for the concealers and setting powders. I have this same review posted under the JSC concealers and I gave those 5 stars (When used correctly)

I purchased several shades. C0 for cut crease, C3, C4 for concealer to brighten under eye, C7 to use as foundation, C24 to use for contouring, and Green for spot corrector. I wanted the peach but it was already sold out. The setting powders I bought in Translucent for baking, and Fair and Beige to use as face powder. (Wasn't sure which one would look better, so I got both) Tbh, they both match for all over face powder. I am light skin with nuteral undertones. My skin is ptetty normal, but more on the dry side right now during tge colder months. I always moisturize my skin and use a moisturizing primer before my makeup applications no matter what products I am using and it helps tremendously. Now, as for the concealers I absolutely love them. All the colors I bought work great for what I intended to use them for. Now I've read all the reviews and I agree with both positive and negative reviews to a certain extent. First of all, this concealer is NOT going to ERASE fine lines and wrinkles and Jeffree never claimed that it would. (Of course he hyped it up a bit, every brand does.) It does however BLUR your fine lines when used properly. Just like pore filling primer. It doesnt get rid of pores, it blurs them so they aren't as noticeable. I think people are getting confused and expected this concealer to rewind the aging process and completely remove or iron out wrinkles and lines. Nothing on the market does that. And if Im wrong, hit me up because I will buy it in a minute. Lol Anyways, people need to realize that Jeffree Star is huge and people think that everything he touches turns to gold and they over hype his products to do more than he even claimed. I love JS and JSC and I buy everything he launches, but not everything lives up to the hype from his ride or die fans. Back to my review, I do love these concealers. I hate shape tape, its too thick and cakey. I actually gave up using concealer and I figured this is the final straw, if this don't work on me, I give up. I first applied using a wet sponge, HATED IT. Next, used my fingers, HATED IT, Finally I rewatched his video and he said the brush works best for both concealer and powder. Tried that, LOVED IT. The other techniques dried weird, I looked older. One person in the comments said they looked like the crypt keeper. I agree, I laughed reading that. But I used a brush. I sprayed it lightly with fix plus (Dont know if that made a difference or not. I always do that anytime I use a brush) and i kind of stippiled it on under my eyes and it looked beautiful. I don't really ever bake, even though I bought translucent to bake, lol but I honestly prefered to lightly use the fair and/or beige powder to just lightly brush all over my face and under eyes and that worked better. I didn't like when I packed it under my eye and let it "bake". It got cluncky. But to be fair, everything I use does that to me. Im 34 and a light smoker since the age of 15 so I do have a little bit of fine lines under my eyes. If you notice the reviews, tge younger people bake and love it, anyone with lines or bags, had something negative to say. I would suggest my method before giving up on the product. Oh, and if you do have lines, bags, wrinkles, dry patches, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use a ton of product. Less is more. It blends nicely. He never said it is full coverage out of the bottle. It is BUILDABLE full coverage. That is so everyone can use this and look good. If u glob it on dry skin and wrinkles you will look awful. Try a little tgen building up to your coverage. Not everyone has the same skin or texture or flaws they want to conceal. I love that its buildable. Most are too thick and yes they are full coverage but they look like a cakey crusty mess especially if I bake. I just got a flash back of me using shape tape. It was scary. Sorry so long but I hope my technique works for you. Oh and I am kind of dry right now and as mentioned above, for those of you that said it was too dry, moisturize first, use moisturizing primer, and use a litttle at a time and build up. And dont bake. Oh and use brush. I used Morphe M436 which I liked tge best and for powder I used Morphe E41 and I also use Morphe X Jeffree Star JS2 brush for powder. I want to use the Morphe X Jeffree Star JS3 brush to apply the concealer next. Not sure if it will work. Thinking it will. My C0 star ended up breaking off when it fell from my vanity onto carpet. 🤷 I almost broke another one just getting it out of the box so be careful when opening and removing concealer if you open it from the bottom like most people to avoid tearing tge shade label. The reason its hard to remove is because he has a extra piece of box flap (for lack of better words) to protect the cap and the star on top from getting smashed during transit. Just like he did with his lip liners. Remember getting those darn things out of the box 🤦😠 Crap, and one more thing people were complaining about was medium shade range. And I will have to agree. My C3 and C4 kinda look the same in the bottle. And they look very close to C0 in the bottle. But once blended, they are good. I cant speak for medium shades because that's not my tone, but Jeffree did say he wanted feedback and was open to suggestions and adding more shades and finding a right shade for everyone. So I suggest everyone that feels that way about the range, and Ive read ALOT of peoples reviews that feel this way. Just voice it out. Dont just put your review on here. Tweet it out to Jeffree on Twitter or on IG. If enough people ask him to fix this without being completely rude (we all know he can get snappy with rude people) Im sure he will do what he can to make it better. This is his first launch. Alot of other brands dont have a big range, but there are alot that do. Once all his ride or die fans that just give him great reviews because they are fans and dont want to upset him (not everyone is like that but he could tell you to smear dog crap on your face and some people would and swear by it just because Jeffree said to do it 😱) I would wait another few days let the hype die down then voice it to Jeffree so he actually sees it. Right now all the great reviews are drowning out the not so great. And most ppl on YouTube are afraid of him to say something negative. (I.e. Laura Lee and Manny MUAs dead career) ok im finally done!!!

Love the smell, the taste, the packaging, everything! Works really well. I also have the pink lemonade lip scrub but the cherry soda is my favorite of the two.

the palette itself is amazing. Great color payoff, big pan size. However, the color poison was broken when I received my palette. I emailed Beautylish and right away they gave me the option of returning the product at no cost and getting a full refund or keep the palette and they will give me a partial refund. Only a small piece was broken so I opted for the partial credit of $15.00. I will say their customer service is excellent. Will shop with them again. And they really packaged my items very well so I think it was broken either before they packed it or during transit it was thrown around. I will say I was shocked because it was packaged extremely well. They even tied little ribbon around each item. They take their time for sure.

Love this color. So pretty. This color is supposed to be sheer and used over other colors to add the glitter effect. It is more dry than his other lip colors because of the glitter. This color leaves a very light pink tint with glitter.
