Beauty Product Reviews

I don't get the hype...

I bought this because I heard great things about it, but I honestly hate it. Yes it is like spackle for you eyes, extremely thick and full coverage. However, it is so completely drying I cannot stand it. It's cakey and makes my under eyes so dry and gross. I thought I could maybe use it as spot concealer instead, but it even creates a dry patch that way as well.

Unbelievable

I have been coveting these glitter shadows for so long. When I unpackaged these at Sephora I didn't know what they were (I first thought they were a metallic lipstick). Then I moved and didn't get a chance to get them until I found Beautylish, which has the most amazing international shipping. I purchased Diamond Dust, Kitten Karma, Smoldering Satin, Bronzed Bell and Rose Gold Retro. I will say that many of the shades are very similar with only slight variations, so you really don't need them all. I think I love the tone of Rose Gold Retro the best, which I figured I would. But I actually use Diamond Dust the most. It is nowhere near opaque, but that kind of works because I put it over some eye shadows or in my inner corner. These do have a bit of fallout, but I really don't care. I happily rock glitter on my cheeks. lol

Holy grail

This is definitely one of my holy grail highlighters! It's so hard for me to find ones that aren't too dark for my pale skin and Ice Cold is perfect. It's more of a yellow based white, not pure white. It gives you the most intense glow imaginable and you can easily layer it to make it even more blinding. I always appreciate how much product you get with Jeffree's Skin Frosts. This is the best formula of his skin frosts that I've tried. Its the perfect balance between creamy and powdery.

Gorgeous

I was worried about this shade of skin frost because I have extremely pale skin and I have to be very careful with highlighters. However, its not bad at all if you like an obvious highlight. It's definitely bold and has a lot of gold reflects to it and it looks beautiful on the skin. The pan size is definitely giant and probably the best value in higher end highlighters that give you an intense glow. I will never have to repurchase it because it will last so long, but if I had to I would. I also find I can use this as a blush topper as well.

So beautiful and smooth

This formula is wonderful. The whipped texture makes it glide on beautifully and its fully opaque. I got the metallic finish liquid lip and it's probably the best metallic formula that I've used. It doesn't flake away. It's not overly drying. I kind of prefer a flat applicator and this one has a curve to it that hugs the lip, but it still works.
