Nice palette but terrible texture and odor

This is by far the worst bummer. I've been very hesitant to buy it for the longest time it is so damn expensive, but then I watched a few more reviews and decided to go for it. The packaging is beautiful and the color selection is right up my alley. This is my first Natasha Denona palette so I didn't know what to expect. Besides the fact the colors are pretty and the selection is great, the smell of the shadows is very prominent, not so good at all. I didn't think much of it, so I tried it out. After the first use I ended up with red eyes, which I still didn't link with the shadows, I live in Dubai, I thought it was the weather. But then after the third use, eliminating every other possible contributor to my eye sensitivity it became clear. I don't know if it's this particular palette or the Natasha Denona shadows in general, but it just isn't for me. I also need to mention that the color payoff itself is not that good, the shadows are very powdery and are mostly patchy. Again I don't know if it's this particular palette or in general, but this is my experience.

Perfect to Blend in my Cellularose Brightening CC Serum from By Terry

I write this as a title statement, because as beautiful as this CC serum is, it is the most difficult to blend in. On my skin at least (combination middle-eastern), it streaks and creates patches and weird marks. I actually bought the GSN-5 for this serum - it is expensive enough to deserve its own brush.

It is so soft, and the paddle-ish shape of it's bristles, makes it great to go around the nose, under the eyes and the corners of the jaws.

the bristles aren't as dense as in a kabuki brush, thus it doesn't take in a lot of product, two pumps to be exact was all i needed to cover my whole face and neck.

Great investment!

Great moisturizer that works wonders with my combination skin

I use squalane as my oil in the morning when i know i'll be wearing makeup. with it i can skip my moisturizer and just wear a base under my SPF foundation.

i apply it under a layer of gel Hyaluronic B5 from The ordinary, and my skin feels nourished all day long. I live in Dubai, with temperatures reaching 49 and 50 degrees, hydration is vital.

Note: leave it to settle and soak into the skin for some 5 minutes. Otherwise i have noticed that it can move around under makeup.

The lush fibers of the brush are heavenly

besides a Hakuhodo, this is the best face brush you can ever use. i use it for EVERYTHING. loose or compressed powder, bronzer, and sometimes even a blush if i'm on the go.

my to go brush when i'm traveling

Great Product

It's good for the most glamorous look as a primer to glide the foundation on, or as a moisturizer with some blushing effect for those lazy days. Worth the money!

My best brush

Part of my daily makeup routine. whether simple or full glam, this brush is my go-to for full face bronzer, or setting powder or mineral powder. I just love it
