24K Gold Eyelash Curler

I have had this eyelash curler since 7th grade...that's 9 years of everyday use! I seriously have never felt the need to purchase another. It curls my lashes beautifully. You can tell when an eyelash curler rocks when the clamp is smooth and grips your lashes all the way.

I know the 24k plating is gimmicky to those thinking it's just over-hyped "luxe" - but it is beneficial to those with extreme sensitivity to certain metals like nickel. I'm sensitive to nickel, but my original one doesn't make enough contact with my skin long enough to buy the 24k one for that reason. I just wanted something to match with my brush set. I love it, and although they urge you to toss your curler/pad [i've heard both] after 3 months of use, my own personal Shu has been with me for almost 6 years now, and I'm still on the original pad, not yet on the replacement pad. Just be gentle with these, and they'll last you a lifetime.

Stocked up on these at the last L'Oreal company sale. Love the Shu Uemura eyelash curler....the 24k gold plating doesn't really make a difference other than it being pretty :)

If i had to pick one thing from my makeup bag that I could not live without, this would be it!!!

I don't get the hype. I bought this and I think my old $5 Maybelline curler is the bomb, plus, it folds in half. I keep this as my back up but I never use it.
