Nice long lasting lipstick
These glide on so well, and the finish is so nice. Long lasting and very wearable colors. Even though they are matte, they dont have a dry look to them; they have more of a dewey finish, and they are comfortable to wear. I think they have a very classy finish to them. They also do not bleed.
Best texture
I love matte lipstick & partly for its staying power. This has good staying power but it's not as impressive as I had hoped or expected from KA's wonderful line. The "moisturizing" aspect is a tip-off & serves to make the texture smooth like a thick balm but with high pigmentation. It's build-able, too. If you're looking for good coverage with moisture, this is IT.
Bloodroses looks nearly black in the tube but for me is the prefect blend of plum & wine. I can make it look goth-y or dab it with my finger & it looks like a lovely stain.
On star off for for average longevity.
Another Nude Favorite!
In a previous 5-star review of this product I raved about KAs lushious and creamy matte lip color. I tried 'Uninterrupted', but it was the wrong color match for me. I returned it and purchased 'Infinite'. I must share that this has become another nude favorite! This shade coupled with Armour's 'Diana' is FABULOUS! Just sayin'.
Dreamy Creamy Matte
Again, Kevin Aucoin has made a wonderful product. I love 'Enduring'. It is a soft pinkish nude matte lipstick that is a hydrating creamy matte that doesn't require frequent reapplication. This shade looks great with a smoky eye. The next color to try is Uninterrupted!
Gorgeous Demi-Matte Shades
I have three of these in Relentless (a mauve nude), Timeless (an orange red) and Endless (a medium fuchsia pink). They aren't true mattes but have a bit of a demi-matte finish. They are creamy, light and great for summer. I haven't noticed that they slip and they wear for a good 5-6 hours before needing to reapply.
I do notice that in person the shades are much more opaque than the swatches online, so if you're looking for something sheer, this isn't it.
Vampy!
This is the vampy shade to end all others. A little darker than its blush counterpart, in a very warm oxblood. Just about perfect for any complexion. Goes on smoothly with no hitching or dragging. I haven't worn it for long yet, so not sure about wear time or transfer yet.
Pretty Colour
Great wear. Matte but not super matte and drying. I've been wearing it now for about an hour with very little transfer after two coffees and food. The picture on the site is a lot different than it looks IRL. It's really more of a mid-toned bright pink than the dusty sort of mauvey colour pictured, or maybe my monitor sucks. Luckily, it's a colour I can and would wear, just not what I wanted, but it's still a keeper. I really hope you guys aren't doing away with the skin toned swatches, as they're really quite helpful. I've noticed a lot of the new products don't have them.
