I have several shades but my favorites by far are the Sheer Raspberry Ice and Sheer Mocha. Just enough color to define your lips but not so much that you have to constantly reapply. Avon's always got a sale on this product so it's a good deal. It'd be perfect if it was a little easier to get a hold of them!
Like everyone says, this is an exceptional brush for one dollar! It's the perfect size to travel with and it picks up and deposits shadow really well. It does shed a little, and the glue holding the ferrule to the wood looks like it'll give easily if you're not careful, but for the price we're getting quite a treat!
This is the only product I have ever made the (repeated) effort to find a good color. I hit up three different CVS stores five separate times, trying to aim for a good shade for my skin from the packaging and missing the mark like I was half-blind! (The Cover Girl site had been more hindrance than help.) My first round of attempts had me giving up and just keeping Enamor, even though it's too dark, because I knew I could mix it with lighter lipsticks and glosses. For my second try I just aimed light, hoped for the best, and ended up loving both Rush and Sultry!
Cheap beauty essential!
I primarily use petroleum jelly as an overnight lip softener, but as you can tell from all the other comments, it's a great item to have for all sorts of beauty uses. This has always made my lips feel better than any other kind of lip balm out there, regardless of price point.
This was my first liquid liner and I got it in whatever the brown shade was. It lasted for quite a while and I liked the thin brush, but the formula left a little to be desired. As dark as it was, it took a while to dry and once it'd been on for a few hours it flaked off in small pieces that would get into my eye and irritate the heck out of them!
The price is RIGHT
I got this in Mocha and it was a rush buy one lunch hour at work when I had nothing to save me in my purse and I wanted a nude. This lipstick was SO DRY! It washed out all the color in my lips (and thus my face) and it dried me up like the Sahara in no time! There was nothing moist about this! The packaging was really cheap and loose, with the product moving around within the case and the lid cracking almost immediately. Seems like it was worth exactly as much as I paid for it!
It's got the same giant brush as Benefit's Bad Gal Lash, so if you're a fan of how that works, then you'll like this. The formula adds shimmery color to your lashes, and you're supposed to choose a shade based on your eye color to tailor the effect. I chose the emerald (which is for green eyes that I *do NOT* have), hoping for a nice dark glittery green on my lashes. That unfortunately did not happen; I instead got dusty gray lashes. Not a cute look!
I bought the hype, but I'm regretting it. My lashes are short and tend to stick straight out, so I want a mascara that's going to give me a little volume, a lot of length, and HOLD THE CURL. The regular formula for this was too wet at first and immediately flattened my curl. There was added length, but it can't be seen with my eye shape. Even once the product dried out a bit, I still had the problem with losing curl and then the added problem of my lashes sticking together. This works okay on my bottom lashes, and it's definitely black, but there were too many problems to want to repurchase.
