Hannah, hello there. I was wondering if I could get some advice. I posted a thread about wanting to dye my hair a deep eggplant/purple without bleach. Unfortunately, I was a little unsatisfied with the responses. Do you know any good permanent dye in purple that I could use? I really want to avoid bleaching my hair. Every time I've tried to dye my hair it rarely comes out exactly how I want, which is why I usually go to the hairdresser when I want to go red. Thanks so much!!

Hi Jackie! What color is your hair at the moment? I'd recommend the Pravana Chromasilk Vivids, if you're interested in a purple shade. It's the purple color used in every one of my pictures with weird hair, though I used it on very bleached hair, so it turned out incredibly vibrant. I think that over darker hair, it would tint your hair a nice, rich purple, but I can't be 100% certain just because I've never tried it over unbleached hair. I remember reading that that was the brand you use and was looking at that color. At the moment, my hair is a light red/brown (dyed) with my darker roots showing- my most recent picture in my profile shows color. I've been soooo swamped with Grad work that I want something fun to motivate me and get me thorough my final 5months.
