Although YT Guru Laurenisokay kinda ruined the color to me comparing the yellow to pus, I love the consistency of this product. Where some moisturizers feel like Acne medication under the pseudonym of moisturizer on your cheeks, this is a bit more creamier and more hydrating on the skin. I also like how this product gives me the right amount of moisture. However, since I'm a Combo/oily skin like Jennifer M. said it does give a greasy look afterwards. I mostly see this when I moisturize at night and go to bed.
My friends saw the difference
I've been using this eye cream for several months now, although I don't see drastic changes I do see enough. My eye circles aren't as bad as they were before and my eyes don't look like I've been crying-all-night-puffy. But one day a friend of mine said that she couldn't even tell that I had dark circles now. I do as the instructions recommend and use this before I put on my makeup in the morning and before I go to bed at night. Although this cream is lightweight, careful with the amount you put because the under eyes can feel a bit greasy afterwards. But I like and I'm content with my results. :)
I don't like the packaging
I typically apply these wet for that extra boost in pigmentation and less fall out and they look gorgeous. The only turn off is the packaging. the part where the product comes out of is very narrow. think of it like the neck of the bottle. Also, whenever I try to pour a little bit of pigment out of the bottle, a huge clump comes out. To me that's more than I need and a waste of product. Due to this using the product has become a hassle.
I got this product after seeing how quickly this reached one of the popular products list on beautylish. I was immediately interested because bathroom soaps leave my hands dry. This lotion gave me back the moisture that was lost after a routine hand wash. I purchased the blue bottle of the lotion, while the scent is light and won't linger. The product isn't thick like other lotions and applies a light surface that won't leave a oily feeling afterwards.
The shape of this product is so adorable. While the lip balm is an round shape, the everyday hand lotion has a big pebble, soap-like appearance. Super cute. If you want basic moisture return to your hands, I would recommend this.
It stained my lids.
I purchased Sugarpill's eyeshadow in Dollypop out of curiosity and boy is that baby pigmented. Since it's too dramatic for everyday, I've been using it as a blush and it looks amazing. HOWEVER one day after experimenting with Dollypop, I washed off my makeup and found a large hot pink stain where Dollypop was on my lid. HUGE TURN OFF. I don't know if all Sugarpill shadows stain BUT it took awhile to get off and have made me wary on whether I should purchase another shadow.
Let me know if you've had experiences with lid staining.
If you want the Urban Decay glittery/frosty goodness this palette is for you. But I feel that its more going out partying kind of palette. Especially with colors like Kush, Loaded, Money, Haight, and Radium which are mostly Greens and Blues. Everything else is wearable for the most part but if you're the type that needs a matte color close to your skin tone...sorry, no matte colors at all in this palette.
Got all of my 24/7 glide on pencils from the Urban Decay palettes (BoS Alice in Wonderland, NYC, and Naked). They work great on my upper lash line where they won't budge, however on the waterline like every other pencil eyeliner needs the additional help of setting with an eyeshadow and possibly some concealer/powder help.
Needs better packaging
I have this product in Retro Red and it is a bit hard to apply on the lips HOWEVER I got around this with a lip brush. BUT the only damper on this product getting much love it the packaging because when you twist the product down there is still some lipstick sticking out and the cap goes around the lipstick, like in the image above. However if you're like me and randomly find your cap missing from you lipstick in your purse, get ready to find lipstick on EVERYTHING. I would prefer if the product can be twisted into the tube completely like other lipsticks. That is all.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance (TFSI) was the first primer I had that really worked for me without creasing (UDPP creased on me too) and I loved it. Long lasting and not a lot is really needed to get the coverage and affect you need. However I had to stop using it several months ago because it had separated and it was becoming a hassle to shake it/massage the tube to get it back to its glory every time I applied makeup.
But I always recommend this primer to anybody who is starting off with makeup and needs a good primer.
