And here I was thinking my bags were irreversible
A lot of people get under eye bags and dark circles confused. Unless I haven't slept in 3 days (it's only happened once), I won't have under eye circles. However, the bags are pretty ridiculous. I used a couple different drugstore concealers, all of which would have been able to handle dark circles, but didn't really help the bags. Benefit being my go-to high end brand, this was the first department store one I tried and holy cow, I will never ask God for anything ever again. It is SO creamy and the coverage is to die for, it blends effortlessly and I love it. Only complaint: there aren't too many shade options
Better If You're Paler
Benefit has never disappointed me. Ever, and this is no exception. I really like the high beam, but my friend got me Girl Meets Pearl for my birthday, and it looks way more natural on my skin. I'm a bit more olive-toned and the white-ish pink of High Beam just looked a bit too obvious (Girl Meets Pearl is more of a pink-ish gold). I like to use High Beam now on my cupid's bow and inner corner of my eyes but if you have darker skin I'd definitely recommend trying Girl Meets Pearl first.
What you see is what you get
When they say high intensity, they mean it. Sometimes in the past it's bugged me when i see a deep purple colored eyeshadow, i buy it, take it home, and it's barely lavender. I wanted purple. That's why I paid for purple. With these that is completely different. You get very vibrant colors, an a nice variety. The only downside is that you get 2 colors. I'm not saying that's terrible. If you like the combination, go for it. But when I bought the pink/brown duo I really only wanted the pink. Oh well
Love the new container.
There are 2 versions of the Primer Potion. Number 1, is like the one shown above. It has a doefoot applicator and a lot of people say it dries out really fast. This is probably the same as why mascaras dry out. If you keep pushing air in with the applicator, it's gonna dry out. It's unavoidable. However, version 2 comes in a tube that you squeeze out. Much better option, which leads me to believe that Urban Decay is listening to its customers, which makes me very happy to purchase from them. I recommend buying the tube bottle so the product won't dry out.
Absolutely in love!
This is supposed to be 5 stars, it won't let me change it. I really like these polishes. And for 2 dollars, they cannot be beat. For valentine's day, I painted my nails different shades of pink, and my Sinful Colors nail lasted as long as my essie and OPI colors. They're very opaque, some of my colors I can easily just use one coat, and there are a lot of really good colors. I had been wanting the OPI Nicki Minaj color Fly and I found almost an exact dupe for it. These are excellent.
I typically wear purple/green/blue eyeshadow. not anymore
I am OBSESSED with this palette. I typically like to wear bright eye shadows, but I figured I'd buy this because I was looking to try wearing neutrals more often. I know that sounds like a bit of a splurge for someone whose day-to-day eye shadow is green, but if you count up how many shadows there are, each one is 3.38 which for UD's pigmentation is fantastic. Plus you get a primer potion and brush. Remember that girl who loves color? She doesn't exist anymore. there has not been a single day since buying it that I didn't use at least one color from my Naked palette. I love it and absolutely recommend it.
