Ooh, la la! Paris fashion week has wrapped and we’ve chosen the best hair and makeup looks from the runway. From multicolored strands at Jean Paul Gaultier to bejewelled brows at Chanel, beauty inspiration was aplenty in the city of lights.

Multicolored strands have been popular for months, but these hyper-bright, graffiti-inspired locks blow ombré tips out of the water. At Jean Paul Gaultier (left), hairstylist Guido Paulo sprayed two stripes of color down either sides of models center parts. Similarly at Haider Ackermann (far top left), sparkling splashes of rose gold paint were streaked all over the models effortless chignons. And if you’re looking for a wild change? Add blue and red bands of pigment to your locks like the fierce warrior-like models at Yohji Yamamoto.

Our favorite thing about fashion week? Discovering new and interesting makeup techniques, like the eye brow color splash at Manish Arora (left). Makeup artists focused the seafoam tint towards the inner brows to balance the wideset, fluttering paper lashes—super whimsical. And how about the sky princess effect at Miu Miu? Eyes looked techno-fairy with bold boomerang wings of glacier white and blue shadow paired with reflective pailettes on the inner and outer corner of the eyes.

If only we could all achieve the perfect cat eye! Take inspiration from Lanvin (left), where makeup maestro Pat McGrath painted a thick cat eye that extended all the way to the crease. It was the opposite at Tsumori Chisato, where eyes were treated to a stubby fishtail liner.

This season, makeup icon Peter Philips wowed us with semiprecious arches! The makeup team brow-dazzled models using strips of multi-colored jewels and sequins, complementing the shows crystallized theme.

We can’t get enough of color—and it seems, neither can Yang Du! Face painting went couture on the catwalk with orange, violet, turquoise, and apricot streaks painted graphically across the face. Artists kept the eyes geometric and black so they didn’t disappear among the vibrant palette of hues.
