I am going in to 7th grade on September 2nd so I will still be hot in Philadelphia! My school has a dress code of no spaghetti straps, very short shorts or crop tops. I have a girly style and was thinking a skater skirt but any ideas would be awesome. My makeup is nothing but a bit of lipstick and inner corner highlight on my eyes. My hair will most likely be a bun with a bow. Thanks and hope you can help.

September 2nd is my sister birthday! Anyway, I would do a skater skirt for an outfit. You are lucky it will be warm for you, when I go back to school in September it will be pretty cold. Other things to have is maybe high waisted shorts, if you can find some that are long enough so you can wear some of the shorter shirts. Floral tops, casual dresses would also be cute.

Oh sweet, a Philly girl :) I go to college in Philly! Don't remember last September being too hot though. It was pretty comfortable temperature. But I would still suggest a skater dress or skirt, it's just something I imagine looking great on your petite frame.

I'm going to sound like a right idiot, but how old are you in 7th grade? I'm British and the whole grade thing in America always confusing to me aha.

I love the first outfit picture! Skater skirts are such a good thing to have in your closet to pair with different shirts. I wore a lot of blouses and jeans with nice tops, or dresses. For fall skirts with sweaters or leggings are cute!

Maybe a dress that stops before your knee with tank top sleeves so you don't break the dress code so you'll be safe. I'm going into grade 8 so I already know what grade 7 is like. My school is 7-9 because it's in Canada.
