To be honesty I didn't really like this primer I thought I would give it a go as it was the best seller in there website when I tried it mind you I have combination skins it was alright with putting it on and everything I did the steps warmed it up first rubbing the product with my fingers before applying it to my "problem" areas and first It was good it looked alright and disclaimer I ain't a makeup artist nor do I classify myself as an expert but after letting it rest on my skin then applying foundation on top it look okay using my foundation that I've been religiously using for a few years now I knew the very moment I could see patches it wasn't the foundation but this product I thought I might have done something wrong so after rubbing everything off my face I did the process again and it was the same patches that if you touch comes off like a sunburn.. I've tried and tried to use this product with different foundations but nothing works.. if you got this far well maybe it was just my skin but I do believe with some people that this product does work wonder but my skin personally it just doesn't do what it's meant to do
Works well, pain to use though
This product really is a wonderful primer. I'm sure most of the other reviews focus on the challenges of application and my experience is no different. You must do the patting motions and work in small areas as it sets quickly. I found it works well under make up. They also mention you can apply later in the day to blot away shine however I found as I patted it on my skin it lifted the make up off and my fingers carried away the foundation and powder so I don't recommend it this way.
I wanted to love it but.....
I really wanted to love this product as I tend to et oily in my T-zone about mid day and needed a primer that would help my foundation to stop separating. This primer was okay for this. I have to only apply this foundation in my oiliest spots because if I try to use this all over I do get dry patches and uneven texture in my foundation no matter how much I moisturize. Not too sure why it creates dry patches as soon as it drys but I would be careful applying it if you have dry to combo dry skin.
Disappointed
I was not happy with this primer. It left an odd texture on my skin and patting it onto my problem areas, as I was told was the recommended method, left my skin looking sort of crusty which looked even worse once I applied my foundation over it. I suppose it helped a tiny bit with my oil problem but I have since found a product from Lush that costs less and works magnificently.
